Always get permission
Only connect to a phone, TV, computer or camera that you own or whose owner has clearly agreed. Sessions must stay visible to the owner; never try to hide or disguise one.
Never use it to
- Monitor, track or record someone without their knowledge or consent
- Access a partner’s, family member’s, employee’s or customer’s device without their clear permission
- Steal passwords, money, data or accounts, or commit fraud or “tech support” scams
- Harass, threaten, stalk or exploit anyone
- Record or stream people where they expect privacy
- Break the law, infringe others’ rights or bypass content protection
- Attack, overload or probe the Service or other people’s systems
Live streams and property tours
Only stream a property before or between stays, never while guests or residents are inside. Don’t point a camera into private spaces such as bedrooms or bathrooms when anyone could be present, and follow YouTube’s rules and your booking platform’s rules on cameras and recording.
Business use
Repair shops, consultants and support teams must record customer consent before accessing a device and only access what the job requires.
Enforcement
We may suspend or close accounts that break these rules and may report illegal activity to the authorities.
