Security

How CaIoT RemoteViewer keeps access visible, temporary and approved, and how to report a vulnerability.

Last updated October 18, 2026

Every remote session needs the device owner’s approval. Android permissions stay visible and under the owner’s control in CaIoT Companion, and sessions use temporary codes and passwords rather than standing access.

Local first

Local USB and Wi-Fi features run on your own devices. Backups are password-protected archives saved where you choose.

Remote connections

Remote sessions connect through managed network and relay infrastructure. No software can promise perfect security, so we keep sessions attended and temporary by design.

Trusted downloads

Only install CaIoT RemoteViewer from this website. The Downloads page lists the current version and its SHA-256 checksum so you can verify the installer.

Responsible disclosure

Please report vulnerabilities to team@caiot.co with steps to reproduce. Give us a reasonable time to fix the issue before sharing it publicly, don’t access other people’s data, and don’t disrupt the Service. We won’t pursue legal action against good-faith research that follows these guidelines.
